King & Zelko’s Bali Boo grew purely out of customer need. Many clients would come in looking for high-quality furniture at a reasonable price. Initially, the company focused solely on high-end furniture crafted from rare local woods, such as koa and mango, with a price tag that was well above the budget for many customers.

Bali Boo began to investigate resources for furniture that it could bring in that would fill this need. The company finally found a resource in Bali, Indonesia, that would enable it to import solid wood furniture, antiques, art and more with a level of quality and construction that Bali Boo could sell confidently to its clientele.

The company has expanded to 15,000 square feet of showroom space that provides more of a “treasure-hunting” experience than a traditional shopping experience. Many pieces are one-of-a-kind; and Bali Boo has developed a loyal customer base that insists on being informed whenever the company brings in a new container, just to be sure they don’t miss that one piece they’ve been looking for!

The most exciting new product lines include the teak/teak and teak/bamboo kitchen cabinets as well as a line of bathroom vanities, vessel sinks, and one-of-a-kind stone tubs. The teak kitchen cabinets are made of solid wood construction (no pressboard or particle board) with basic sizes available in stock. Whatever the kitchen configuration, homeowners can mix and match these cabinets to fit all storage and space needs. All cabinets come with European Blum hardware. The vanities are made of solid teak in many different finishes, and many different countertop and sink variations. They are perfect for new construction or a remodel.
